First-Generation Picnic

Celebrate the achievements, experiences and connections that make our first-generation Riverhawk community special! Join us for an afternoon of great food, fellowship and Riverhawk pride as we recognize and celebrate our first-generation students, faculty and staff.

Join us from 12:15 to 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 5 in the Café for a special First-Generation Picnic featuring hamburgers, pulled pork, delicious sides, cupcakes and refreshments. Come together to enjoy a meal, share experiences and build meaningful connections with fellow first-generation Riverhawks.

Whether you’re a first-generation college student, faculty member or staff member, this event is an opportunity to celebrate your journey, connect with others who share similar experiences and recognize the strength and determination of our first-generation community. This event is open to all first-generation students, faculty and staff.

Please note: Registration is not required to attend. Signing up simply allows us to send you helpful email and text reminders leading up to the event.
